How did I make this?
For this project I not only used the bin bag provided but also other materials. These being thin wire, food waste bags, small elastic bands and pipe cleaners. one I gathered my materials I started by cutting six rectangles out of the bin bags, then when they are alined at each edge I started folding them back and forth like a paper fan, one this was done I used the elastic band to hold it together so then I could round the edges with scissors. Then I started to separate the layers to make the flowers, I repeated this process a few more times experimenting with different sizes.
Once I had the heads of the flowers made I used the wire to create stems then wrapped that with the pipe cleaners. Then finally arranged them in a way that I liked and tied them of with a bow.
The reason why I chose flowers for this project was to use something that is seen as ugly and smelly and old but presented as something that is seen as beautiful and fresh.
